Deep Cleaning Services Telford

Updated: 1 day ago
As professional and specialist cleaners we do things very different to a standard cleaning company. Once we leave a premises our work is far from over! Did you know after a disinfection or biohazardous clean we often have to spend up to three hours sanitising, disinfecting and fumigating every square inch of the van, equipment and cab? The walls, floors, every small piece of equipment and even the power cord and wheels of the hoovers need to be disinfected to ensure no trace of virus or bacteria can contaminate the next job. This picture was from us fumigating the van to ensure there are no insects, mites, spiders or fleas in the van. This was after a recent specialist clean where we needed to purge a property with over 4,000 flies and maggots! We then recycle the plastic, cardboard, paper and general waste to help the environment. We do not view ourselves as cleaners, but professionals. When you need professionals, we are the company to call.

Cleaning What You Cannot See
A standard clean removes dirt you can see. Viruses, bacteria and mould spores are invisible, and they can survive on surfaces and in the air after a room looks spotless. Specialist disinfection tackles both. Visible contamination is removed first, then the air and surfaces are treated with NHS-validated technology that has an up to 99.9999% kill rate against over 260 pathogens. The product is non-toxic and leaves no harmful residue, so rooms can be used again once they have been ventilated. The post on what disinfection fogging is explains the method.
Understanding Kill Rates
Disinfectants are graded on a log scale. A 99.9% product is log 3, which leaves 1 in 1,000 organisms alive. Log 4 is 99.99% and log 5 is 99.999%. The highest level, log 6, is 99.9999%, leaving only 1 in 1,000,000. Most household and supermarket products sit at the bottom of that scale. Specialist disinfection works at up to log 6, which matters wherever vulnerable people, children, patients or food are involved.
Where Specialist Disinfection Is Used
Schools, nurseries and colleges after an outbreak of sickness or flu.
Care homes and clinical settings dealing with norovirus or other infections.
Homes after a death, a serious illness or a hoarder clearance.
Offices and public buildings after a bodily fluid incident.
Properties affected by sewage, flooding or pest infestations.
Over 90 schools have been treated across Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Telford and Shrewsbury, with 3,000+ rooms decontaminated. More detail is on the disinfection fogging page.
Fogging and Electrostatic Spraying
Two methods are used to reach every surface. Dry fogging fills a room with a fine mist that reaches the air, ceilings, behind furniture and other places a cloth cannot. Electrostatic spraying gives the droplets a charge so they wrap around objects and cover all sides of a surface. Used together after a manual clean, they give even coverage across a room. The post on electrostatic spraying and fogging explains the difference.
Working Across Telford
The team is based in Madeley and works across the whole of Telford and Wrekin every week. That includes the older terraces and former mining cottages of Madeley, Ironbridge, Dawley and Oakengates, the 1960s and 1970s estates of Brookside, Sutton Hill, Woodside, Stirchley and Hollinswood, newer homes in Lawley, Priorslee and Ketley, and villages such as Newport, Shifnal, High Ercall and Edgmond. Being local means short travel times, quick site visits and a team that knows the housing stock and its common problems.
A Specialist Company, Not a General Cleaner
Shropshire Expert Cleaners is a specialist company. It does not offer regular, standard, one-off or standard end-of-tenancy cleaning. Its work in Telford and the surrounding area covers after-death and trauma cleaning, hoarder and house clearance, mould removal, biohazard cleaning and hospital-grade disinfection.
